One of the most accomplished conductors of his generation, Valerio Galli saw his career launched in 2007 when he conducted Tosca in Torre del Lago, at the age of 27. In 2013 he received the 42nd Puccini Prize and has performed far beyond Italy on stages such as the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Detroit Opera, Staatsoper Hamburg, Korea National Opera and San Diego Opera. In 2021/2023 he has been Principal Conductor of the Opéra de Toulon
