One of the most accomplished conductors of his generation, Valerio Galli saw his career launched in 2007 when he conducted Tosca at the age of 27. In 2013 he received the 42nd Puccini Prize, his favorite composer and has performed far beyond Italy on stages such as the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Opera Detroit, Korea National Opera (Seoul), Staatsoper Stuttgart, San Diego Opera. In 2021/2023 he has been principal conductor of the Toulon Opera Orchestra
